The stock Duellers will be a tough sell, kind of an oddball size TBH. I tried for weeks with no luck and ended up selling them to a guy at the tire shop that installed my new tires for $100 cash. But well worth the upgrade to 285/70/17s.

Dealer just sent pic with my truck at dealer, swapped the factory tires with 33ā€ KO2ā€™s (nitto grapplers are all on back order), I havenā€™t driven it yet so canā€™t attest to rubbing etc, but dealer said fit no problemā€¦.

Update on 33ā€ inch, zero rub issue, truck drove great, very smooth ride, really surprised how smooth actually, tires are bigger than I thought, Iā€™m 6ā€™ and have to slide out of the truck, def will get combo rock rail slider bars of some type for wife to step downā€¦once again two rivers Ford in Nashville was outstanding on getting me what I wanted and out the door quick, got credit for factory tires, tinted my front windows, blown away when I first saw my truck, 2.7 is quick too and Iā€™m coming off a Ram 1500 sport with a hemi with exhaust upgrade and headers so was impressedā€¦.love the K02ā€™s so far and drove close to 300 miles on em today thru sun and rainā€¦..

Looks great! Any issues at all a few months down the road? Did you get the 4.27 gear ratio or stick with the stock?

I put 33ā€ Toyo Open Country A/T IIIā€™s , 285/70/r17ā€™s on a BB. I was going to do a 1ā€ level later in the month but decided it didnā€™t need it. In my opinion thereā€™s not that much rake in the Bronco and if youā€™re going to spend $400-$550 and 4 hours of labor then youā€™re better off doing a 2 1/2 in lift and level for about $900-$1200. Since Iā€™m flipping this BB for my 2dr BL next year, I didnā€™t want to put that much money into it. But the 33ā€™s and nothing else, even on the stock BB wheels adds a lot to the stance and appearanceā€¦ā€¦again, in my opinion.

I'm having the swap to 33s 285/70r17 on my BB Monday. They are going to put 50 psi in them. What is recommended,39? Or, what did you have yours done at? I'm not too savvy about this, but 50 doesn't seem correct. TY

Your BB looks absolutely awesome. You did exactly what I plan to do on my BD, 285/70/17 and the BFG looks great! Congrats

The shop had mine set at 34psi. I left them at that.

Heavy duty truck tires are different and it appears the tire shop may be mistaken in what PSI may or may not be required, generally treating them like regular LT tires.

So, an example, if I am running my LT245/70R17's on my F-150 near max load, 70 PSI might be appropriate, normally I run empty around 50 PSI, but if I was lightly loaded and off road might even run into the 30's.

M/T tires are different (other than hybrid M/T tires). What you want for a pressure is the highest pressure that gives you an even footprint with a comfortable ride (so they wear evenly).

This could be 50 PSI or it might be 35 PSI, higher pressures will generally favor mileage, but too high can sacrifice comfort and cause excessive wear in the center of the tread. Too low will sacrifice mileage, handling on road, and can cause excessive wearing of the outside shoulders.

I did a couple of online calcs for psi of replacing the 255/75r70s to LT285/70r70s R rating and they were 42 and 45 basing on load. So the tire dealer is a little high. Iā€™ll probably go with 43.

No issues at all, no rub and handles great. I do have the 4.27/locker - I can't imagine driving the 2.3L with 33's on the standard open diff gearing.

Looks great! Have you noticed any rubbing or does it get close at full lock?
I have no problem with rubbing on 295/70R17's (+30 offset).
