OK, is there only one person on the forum that has received a Big Bend, and put bigger tires on it? I guess I'll start a new thread, I'm trying to order tires to be here when my Bronco comes in next month. I don't want giant, just somewhat bigger. I don't want to do a lift.
I put 33” Toyo Open Country A/T III’s , 285/70/r17’s on a BB. I was going to do a 1” level later in the month but decided it didn’t need it. In my opinion there’s not that much rake in the Bronco and if you’re going to spend $400-$550 and 4 hours of labor then you’re better off doing a 2 1/2 in lift and level for about $900-$1200. Since I’m flipping this BB for my 2dr BL next year, I didn’t want to put that much money into it. But the 33’s and nothing else, even on the stock BB wheels adds a lot to the stance and appearance……again, in my opinion.

I‘m considering putting a set of BFGoodrich KO2 285/70/R17 on my Big Bend when it comes in. But, since it’s going to be my daily driver I’m thinking I’ll be taking a MPG hit that may not be worth it. I did see the same tire is available in the same size as the 255/75R/17 Bridgestones that comes on it. Would that be a good compromise to get the look but keep the size? Maybe one a size in between? My daily round trip is only 22 miles of mixed highway / city but I do intend to take on long trips. Thoughts?

For a daily driver those Duelers are pretty good. I didn’t like the looks of them on a Bronco, so I went with the 33’s to improve the stance with the extra width. Not much difference in height though…..extra 1/2 inch or a bit more. But the more aggressive tread pattern was what I was looking for. I’m thinking of putting the Duelers on my Ranger.
I haven’t noticed any changes in MPG or noise or handling between the stock 32’s and the 33’s.

I have been doing so much research on which tires I want to get on my BB and glad I found this thread 😂 . Looks like I will be ordering to BF Goodrich 275/70R17 and HOPEFULLY my dealership agrees to install them for me and give some credit back for the stock tires. I am also planning to use my Bronco as my daily driver, sometimes taking longer trips on the weekends.

OP or anyone else that has swapped, whats the avg MPG are you getting on them? Maybe a pretty broad question as everyone has different driving habits.

Thanks in advance!

Mostly city miles, I’ve been averaging 19.4 MPG in my 4dr BB, 2.3 Auto with 285/70/r17’s.

Finally got to ask my sales manager about swapping 33s and getting credit for the Duelers and he said he can't do it. Hoping a local tire shop will before I start to put any miles on the 32s.

The stock Bridgestone Duelers are in the garage. I thought about putting them on my Ranger, but will just try and sell them I suppose. They had 452 miles on them when I replaced them.

Quick update after 4000 miles....tires have been great, no problems with rubbing etc after all sorts of driving conditions, mpg is anywhere from 16-20 mpg depending on how I drive, havent really used eco mode yet so that may help even more...1-2 mph consistant difference in speed between stock tires and 33" as far as speedometer goes based on a handheld gps unit when i traveled to orlando and back 2 weeks ago

Orlando is where I commute to and from on the weekends, small world 😂, maybe we will pass each other one day although I personally have not seen any Broncos in that area yet, only in Jax.
Thanks for the update!

Awesome look, and exactly what I am ordering...Cactus Grey BB with hardtop. I was just asking my tire place about options to have 33" tires that fit the BB stock wheels, so this is perfect to see. I loved the 33's on a Badlands demo vehicle I drove, but don't want to pay an extra $9k for BL.

Where you able to get credit for your original tires from your dealer or did you find a good way to sell them on your own? My dealer won't give me credit, trying to find the best way to keep costs low.

I didn’t ask since they didn’t do the install at the dealership. They just arranged it at a 4 Wheel shop down the road from them. The tires are still in my garage. I’ll sell them I suppose, but contemplating putting them on my Ranger.
