As Apples said, they're 315/70r17 - 34.4" diameter -Ford taking some liberty in calling them 35s.
Think 315/70r17's would fit on a non-sas OBX?

I've had a set of Nitto's on my Tundra for years and absolutely love them! Mine were 33's and the Trail Grapplers.

I've had the exact opposite experience with Nitto tires. I ran through 2 full sets of 35" Mud Grapplers on my Jeep. Toughest and most reliable tire I've ever run. Barely any chunking and never got a puncture or lost a bead and that's with running them as low as 4 PSI without beadlocks. We even ran the spare from the first set in the 2nd set rotation, which meant it was over 8 years old. I will say that the Mud Grapplers lost a lot of their on-road manners after 50% wear, which is why we're going to the Trail Grapplers for our new Bronco. Nitto makes an amazing tire.
I’m running the EXO Grapplers on my current ride. Haven’t had them off road but in the winter they’ve been really good for traction on snow/ice. Look decent too. Just very heavy tire.

Mud tire does not necessarily mean poor winter performance. Most MT tires would be a slightly softer material and have siping which helps clear mud from the tread. Both of these things also help with on-road winter performance. While they don't compare to a dedicated winter tire, they do amost or as well as an all-season.

I’m getting these rims, and was going to get the tires as well. But I’m concerned with the comments on poor ice and snow performance. I’m now looking into the new MT Baja Boss AT. Who knows what I’ll do, maybe get the Nittos for summer duty and the stockers for winter.

I agree. The Nitto’s look really good.
I think that I will be changing mine or more likely get a second set of wheels and tires with Nittos. Here is some pics of what trail driving is doing to the GY's at the Austin OffRoadeo as evidence.... I honestly dont know if Nittos would start to pit like these, or whether this type of wear is desirable for grip or not... but I've never seen this kind of wear before.

That is not looking very good, maybe peoples apprehension about Goodyear's are justified.

Yeah, kinda crazy. I worked at Discount Tire in Phoenix for a while and as bad as the heat is on tires... I never saw wear like that before. That being said.... Maybe that is designed into the tread compound for more grip on rocks, etc.... but I dunno. They worked just fine but the guides did not seem thrilled that they are the tires chosen for the Squatches.

I've never seen a Nitto tire look like that. The TGs on the Xterra have some chunking but not pitting like that. Considering there isn't even a ton of sharp rock down there, that's very disturbing.

FWIW, I never had chunking or pitting issues on the RGs.

Can't go wrong with Nitto's. Next month, I'm planning to get the Ridge Grapplers on 4wheelonline because I like the look of them. They are like a hybrid all terrain/mud terrain.

Those tires are constantly beat on and aired down for off roading. Of course there are going to be extreme cases of wear with the abuse given to them.

Trail Grapplers come in a 35x11.5R17 but don't buy them all up before I get mine.
