Figure it was time to start documenting my build.

Ordered November 2022
Purchased June 2023 for $76k MSRP

First purchase and install were Fifteen52 Analog HD and adapters to change the Raptor bolt pattern to the regular Bronco bolt pattern. Wrapped them in BFG KM3s 37” x12.50

Next up was installing the Trailrax w/ PakRax roof rack so I can mount my GFC V2 RTT that had been sitting in my garage for 8 months. Also replaced the stock RTT mattress with a Exped mega mat duo inflatable foam mattress and added marine carpet to help with condensation. It’s just as comfortable as my purple mattress in my bedroom lol.

In order to get the wife to come along, I had to install some creature comforts. First up was a dual battery system to power our devices and camping gear as well as an ARB dual compressor.

Install was pretty simple. Only ran into a problem finding terminals for 6ga wiring that would fit the battery terminals so just used smaller gauge wiring and paralleled them at a terminal post.

Got the ARB compressor installed with the pressure control kit. Ran all the air hose underneath the car through the frame to each wheel well. Everything is hidden behind the rear cargo panels and cargo floor Now I just connect four short whips to each wheel and hit a button on my phone and it automatically deflates each tire to a preset pressure. Also works for airing up.

With installing the dual battery system, the mount for the battery charger puts it about 3/4” above the normal stock cargo floor height so needed to install the American adventure labs rear cargo floor which clears the battery charger. It also allows for mounting a fridge slide which is an added bonus.

Sucks that Archetype Racing went out the way they did but the products they did produce were high quality. I only ordered the SITH shackles and BAM rail and they both shipped within a week of me ordering them.

Accessories can make things easier or cumbersome when camping but for now everything has been smooth for me and I got a system down. Added 2 ROAM 95L boxes on top of the RTT which house all my camping gear and leaves the bronco cargo space almost empty. The ROAM 270 awning was a gift from the wife and since I’ve had it I don’t know how I ever camped without an awning. No more getting burned by the sun or rushing to get in the car when it rains. My personal favorite is the Rinsekit rackshower. It’s 5 gallons and battery powered with constant pressure from start to finish. I’ve taken it on 8 trips so far and have not had to charge it yet.

Wanted to add some color to my tow hooks but didn’t want the full code orange hooks that come with the code orange appearance package so I bought some regular bronco black tow hooks and painted only the hook portion code orange. Also took the time to black out the top portion of the bumper and add Heretic amber fog lights and ditch lights. The guys at Heretic make a great product and were also very accommodating when I requested black hardware be used instead of their usual silver. Came out great.

On the wheels, have always loved that look on your Braptor. Any reliability downsides to using the bolt pattern adapters? Assuming they push the wheels out a bit more in the process?

I haven’t noticed any reliability downsides to having them as of yet. They’ve been on for around 20,000 miles now. They do push the wheels out more. It’s unavoidable as the bolts in the adapter need material to be anchored in to. I marked all the bolts and check them every few months. None have moved since I installed them. The wheels are also 0 offset so there’s more poke with that as well. I’m sure there’s more where and tear on the components because of the poke but I don’t mind replacing parts as they wear. It’s all part of the game lol

Im always down for Silver Lake sand dunes. That’s actually where I broke the Braptor in when I got it. Took it to silver lake and southington off road park first week of ownership lol. I’m heading to the Adirondacks in May if you want to tag along. Camping is always better with more people imo lol.

Wow! That looks like a great build. Blackout on those heritage style wheels looks awesome.
these builds look so awkward and top heavy to me. But seeing them in action working as designed is pretty cool.
Great job with this Braptor patrol model.
