Did the exact same to my BD and did not work with the stock steelies. Tires hit the sway bar on full lock. Had to upgrade rims. Will send pics when I get it back later today.

2 inch level kit 4wp
17x8 American Racing Baja's 0 offset
Dick Cepek EXP 35x12.5x17
Will be putting on Sasquatch fender flares

Is your leveling kit just an inch in the front, or is a lift at both rear and front with leveling? Thanks

@mtap - what’s the specs on the Nittos?

@sfs1963 - nice choice! I’ve been eyeing those wheels myself. I also had an issue with 285/75 rubbing the passenger side ONLY at full lock - the SLIGHTEST bit. Boggled my mind.

I don’t think I would risk 12.5” wide on the 7.5” wheels myself. I’d be wearisome when aired down.

It’s for the front and back. I used the 4WPs kit.

Right on. Those are spec for 8.0-10” wheels. They make a true 35x11.5” - which is likely my next tire if I stick with the steelies. It’s actually 34.76”x11.42” as opposed to the 315/70 which is 34.61”x13.27”. Millimeters in difference, I know. But - I prefer a narrower tire.

I’m saving Ford Pass points since they are Nitto dealers now. Between the maintenance on the Transit (which I don’t have the desire to do myself like I do the Bronco) and FP Visa - I should have plenty by the time my Toyos are spent.

the narrow tire would be perfect for a few things…

1) no rubbing on my set up but definitely closer than i would like. So going narrow would be peace of mind.

2) 315/70/17 on stock steelies on the spare would require removal of the bump stops on the tailgate if you’re not running a relo. It will fit, but you will have to compress the bump stops real good lol.

Just ordered my 2023 Black Diamond in Cactus Grey...LOVE THE STEELIES and want to get bigger tires and lift keep them. This setup is so nice. Bronco looks sleek in but still stands tall and looks like a monster...How's the drive on this for everyday? Much change from the stock?

Thank you! Other than being higher up, no difference in handling.
