Hi guys,

I know this has probably been covered, and it sucks to start a new thread, but my ADHD and cocaine addition make it difficult to search through posts

Does a non-Sas OBX need to be lifted to fit 35's under it? An local off-road shop is saying yes (they also tried getting me to buy Mickey Thompson rubber) but a tire and rim shop, who say they've done lots of Broncos, says no

I love the look of this member's Badlands, but not sure if there is anything with the OBX that differs

Thanks

For the people that say yes, please clarify tire/wheel specs and any other alterations made.

I installed the Zone Offroad 2” level kit (+2” front; +1” rear) and originally purchased a set of BFG KO2 35/12.5R18 for the OEM OBX wheels…ultimately had to swap those out for 285/65R18 tires because 4WP said they couldn’t install the 35s due to the front tires rubbing against the vehicle.

I have OBX none SAS and I put Dick Cepek 305 70 18. On stock rims no lift. No issues and looks great.

I have a non-Sasquatch OBX and added 35's with only a 1" front end level. Crash bars had to be removed.

Hey, those look great. How’s the road noise? The OBX will be my first truck/off-roader.

Non-sas 3.5” lift with 315/70/r17
Had slight rubbing on back crash bars, which I removed.

Did you have to remove the crash bars? I am looking at the MT Baja Legend Exp which is basically the same tire in 295/70r18 with a 1” leveling kit.

Looks amazing! 305-70R18 are actually about 1/2 inch larger diameter and slightly narrower than the stock 315-70R17 Sasquatch tires and wheels.
