I finally ran into the driver of a lifted A51 BB I've seen driving around my area. The 2" lift and 35's stand a little tall over my stock BL, so I only parked there long enough to snap a picture.

I have to say it...I hate when you go taller but stay narrow on a tire. It's like a person who skips leg day.

If you need the clearance you definitely need the traction. Add some width. I know everyone says "but hydroplaning..." Don't drive in conditions you can't manage at speeds you can't manage.

Cool 37s but you need a wider rim and more meat surface area to move you. I don't like the one-upping for the sake of saying "I'm running a 37!" when it's less functional and lets you clear approx. one more inch of ground on a good day before airing down.

Sorry for the rant. Your truck looks better.
Are those not 35x12.5R17
So much taller and wider than stock BB also taller and wider than the stock BL. What am I missing?

So it has a ā€œ compact ā€œ spare ?
I always laugh to myself when I see a Jeep (in this case a Bronco) with a lift and bigger tires, but the spare is stock. Nothing screams mall crawler louder. Just spend the extra $250 and make it look right!

I hate to say it but, itā€™s slightly taller and wider than the SAS setup. I think it looks great. Grangerā€™s Big Bend demo is running similar meats. Takes off and stops just fine.

However, I agree, if you are running a compact spare, keep it hidden in the trunk where it belongs.

Is 7.5 wheel too narrow for 35ā€™s?? Am being told this by Costco tire employees, they wonā€™t install that size on the stock wheel, lolz.

I've been waiting for the stock 255's to wear enough to replace with 35's. And after 2 years that finally happened. I was hoping for the new Falken Wildpeak AT4W in a 35x11.50r17 on the stick big bend wheel. But alas not even would say when they would go into full production. So I opted for Cooper Discoverer ATP XLT in a 315x70r17. I did add a 1.25" front level kit and took the crash bars off. I have the 2.3l auto with 3.73 gears. My local for dealership had no problem putting these on the stick BB wheels. I have noticed little to no power loss. And I am LOVING these tires. Plus the Bronco looks soooo much better. The pics just don't do justice. Here some before and afters.

Man, perfect timing on your post!!! Iā€™m about to pick up a set of big end takeoffs to put on my SAS Big Bend mounted with the 315/70r17 Sasquatch tires.

could you have gotten away without the spacers? Iā€™m hoping with the little lift the Sasquatch package has I can get away without spacers.

your bronco looks killer with the bigger tires and Big Bend wheels.

I've seen a few that have done these size tires with stock suspension but very little flex from what I can see. The front level kit allows these to be functional. With the SAS suspension you'll be fine. To be clear, I have no when spacers just the front suspension level kit. With the fresh bars off there is zero rub.

Thank you, it's been a slow budget build but I am Loving how it's coming out.

Ahhh ok. i misread your post on the spacers. Thanks for clearing that up. I personally think the Big Bend wheels are the best looking of the OEM bunchā€¦ love BB the grille too. Seeing your build with the big tires on the rims has totally sold me on following through with my plan and going the route you went.

lookin good!

Thank you! Agreed with the BB wheels and grill, the grill is definitely my favorite.
