Can anyone please tell me how 35s hold up on the stock BD wheels and which tires they got. I just got my bronco a few days ago and need some nice girth on it but like the stock wheels lol.

The limitation will be the width of the stock wheels. Many 315/70r17 or 35x12.5r17 tires (the typical ā€œ35sā€ sizes) are too wide and wonā€™t mount on the stock wheels.

So if you want 35s youā€™ll have the look at a few odd-ball sizes. 35x10.5r17ā€¦ such as Kenda Klever. Or 35x11.5r17ā€¦ such as Toyo Open Country that @kodiakisland posted.

Thats exactly my concern. Iā€™m ignorant when it comes to wheel and tires fitments and donā€™t wanna fuck it up. Thank you!

Toyo also makes a 285/75R17 for their AT3. Itā€™s 33.9x11.3 and C or E rated and suggested for 7.5-8.0-9.5 wheels.

Their 35x11.5 shown above are actually 34.5x11.4 - C rated and suggested for 7.5-9.0-10.0 wheels.

Their MT tires which have 285/75R17 in C (34.1x11.3) and E rated (34.1x11.6).

Unfortunately their RT does not share these specs.

The stock steelies are 7.5. Iā€™m a big fan myself.

Standard black diamond with Bilstein take-offs from a 4DR Badlands Sasquatch with 2.7/Auto. I want to believe the weight difference even with the added winch - leveled me out nicely.

35x12.50 May ā€œfitā€ the stock wheel, but they are going to have a bit of a ā€œbulbā€ shape on such a narrower rim. You may have to play with the air pressures a bit to get a good contact patch and they will be more likely to roll of the bead, at lower pressures. You are probably much better off with a 285/75/17. It a bit over 34ā€ and the factory wheel is probably just a bit undersized for the tire. It wonā€™t rob as much power, will fit better, wear better and have better bead retention at lower pressures. We have one guy in our group with 37s on his BD wheels and he has popped a bead on the trail once already and they are definitely too wide for that wheel from a width/profile perspective.
