All two-door versions are alternating between body colored and gray tops when you spin the Bronco around.
Didn't notice this before.

Yup, was just about to post about that. I noticed it too. Only seems to happen for the Orange 2-door for me

Interestingly enough, the grey top still has the donut cutout over the rear seats, I’m guessing either a simple graphical error, or Ford is messing around with top options (In the configuration, not necessarily what will actually be available) in the background (which would explain why this glitch is just now appearing)

Weird, it was doing it to all the colors for me but now, like you said, it's just the orange.

It looks like this is cdn cache. I am assuming it used to be the painted top, and now they updated it to the grey?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Content_delivery_network

https://www.ford.com/content/dam/vd...25_21_2dr_cyber_orange_env_3.jpg?foo=whatever
add anything else to the image and you will see it change to the new image
I even refreshed my cache this morning and no update - all colors were being weird. I imagine they were just in the middle of an update, like you said, and they just hadn't purged their CDN by the time I noticed it.

its not the cache on your computer. its the cache on the cdn.
ie... browser -> cdn -> ford servers
ford updates their servers, but there are a ton of cdn servers and it can take some time for it to make it to all those.
When you make a request and that image is already on the cdn. it won't even ask for it from the ford server until a certain amount of time has expired

but thats why adding something to the url works, it treats it like a totally different request for something new, then the cdn has to ask ford for the latest

Now that it is displaying all tops as the molded in color, I’m wondering if the modular hard top is now going to be the standard one? (Though with a molded in color instead of painted)

Yes, I understood lol. Along with being the creative director for the company I work for, I'm also the web developer.

Been talking about this in some other threads too. I'm afraid that the body color top on the 2dr might no longer be an option, at least at launch. It used to be listed as on option on the Outer Banks page (that's the one I've been staring at for days) but was removed a few days ago which made me nervous (the body color top is still an option for the 4-dr though in the dual top package), and now today they updated the colorizer to remove colored tops on the two door, so now from what I can tell, all references to a 2dr colored top has been purged from Ford's webpage (except the glitch where in a single frame you can still see it in the colorizer for orange and blue). If this is true that basically means there's no point in getting an Outer Banks model for the sleek body colored fenders, door handles, and mirrors if you have to get a gray or black top anyway...at least until they have these available later. I really hope this isn't the case but it sure looks bad.
