They definitely have a focus more on style and look VS purely function. There's no question Weathertech is more robust and they served us well in the winter, and will literally last forever, but the 3D look so much nicer. You have to weigh how much abuse the mats will be getting.

Good news is there's options for any scenario

Great! They have a gripper bottom than Weathertec let's say. Weathertec is like plastic on plastic if it's vinyl, but the 3D have a grippier bottom
