3rd Party Purchase from Dealership

Hey everyone, I have sort of a strange question. I reserved my Bronco day two of reservations, 4cyl Badlands Hard top.

I sold my car a week before my bronco was supposed to be build back in June 21st, and then the hard top delays hit and after 3months of build delays I ended up buying a JL Wrangler and I’m pretty sure I’m going to keep it. I still have my Bronco reservation though.

My mom needs a new car right now and I just got an updated build date of October 25th. When my bronco gets built would there be any trouble if she filled out the paperwork for purchase instead of me? Would my dealer even allow someone else to buy it if they’re not able to get insane ADM markup?

LOL it actually is my mom. She’s got a 2010 RX350 with like 200k miles and the lower control arm bushings are going out.
She brought up looking for a new car and I told her she could just buy my bronco when it’s ready

Yes, I would go with that right there. I don't see why you couldn't have reserved it for her to buy.

I remember reading somewhere that Ford allows any family member within the same household to purchase from the reservation. They just might ask for proof so heads up

if you live in the same household, it should be transferable. A lot of the emails I get from Ford for discounts on vehicles state that down in the fine print.

Previously, Ford would allow a transfer to an immediate family member. (that would include a parent)

My parents don't have computers and still use flip phones.
