EDD of 8/2 is here and Bronco isn't (no surprise), so had to reach out to Ford chat. Bronco's been on Ramp 4G apparently since 7/12 with no status update since. Fully expecting to not see this thing till September at the earliest at this rate

Brought the Badlands home yesterday! Did a fairly thorough paint check before signing everything at the dealer and it all looks great. Ran through the rest of my list of items to check when I got it home and everything checked out.

One issue, so far: the wind noise at the A pillar/windshield that it was on QA hold for a month was not fixed. It’s like a teapot whistle when going between 50-60mph. I’ll bring it back in when I get a chance to see what the dealer says, but I’ve had the doors off since delivery, so it hasn’t been noticeable since then
Would you mind sharing your list of items to look over? My Bronco is waiting in the rail yard for transit to dealer. I expect to go to the dealer soon.
Also about the wind noise…there is another thread on some hacks to reduce the noise using either pool noodles or rubber stripping in key spots.

Awesome, best of luck on your delivery! This was my list, just things I picked from a few of the checklists floating around this forum:
  • Roll all windows up at once
  • Fluids full
  • Soft top frame/seal alignment
  • Paint bubbles/defects
  • Missing paint in door jambs/door brackets
  • Bumpers straight and centered
  • Body panel alignment (esp. doors)
  • Back doors: check for rubbing, inside lower corner
  • Open/shut all doors to check for smooth operation, no body contact
  • No drilled license plate mounting holes
  • Check frame for corrosion
  • Check for windshield/windows scratches or chips
  • Check roof latches, should not be tough to latch
  • Seat stitching
  • Check for toolkit in glove box, door bags if ordered
  • Check all cameras op
  • Roll bar paint (chips, missed spray)
  • Paint inside tailgate
  • Hood staining/paint defects (bake-in from sitting in holding lot with debris)
  • Fuel door fitting and paint inside
  • Dent/crease in tailgate by hinges
  • Roof/window line dents

It is rough when the Bronco gets off the train and sits in the truck transport lot for a week and counting.... tempted to drive over and look at it through the fence.:LOL::cry:
