I’ve never heard of “riser blocks” and would have concerns over seat fastener failure in a collision.
They were commercially available for the Wrangler, I fabbed my own for the Explorer. I used quality fasteners, but yes I suppose there may be some safety issues in an extremely high inertia collision.

Looked at 2 four door Badlands, one with MGV with manual seats and the leather had electric. Has something changed? I need the electric seats. With the manual my head was above the roof line. Also changing to 4 door but want to stay with Badlands.

Did you notice if the electric seats had memory buttons so you can set up the driver seat to two different drivers?

Any chance you go pictures of the seats? I haven't seen any decent ones yet.

I can say the MGV is slick, feels thin. I have a Ranger boat with much nicer seats. The leather felt good.

Thanks for the confirmation. This is important to me as I like to sit high. I put riser blocks in my Wrangler and Explorer.
You won't need them.

I stopped by them in Springfield MO too, same ones as they showed in St Louis...was hoping for a cactus grey or blue color.

I 50% agree. Carpet and dog hair is tough. If they had a carpet delete option with the leather seats it would have been perfect. (I got a couple of furry passengers as well)
I have a great detail guy. Plus will cover everything in the back. The carpet on the back side of the seats really will be a pain.

In my last bronco a 76. I moved the seat back 2 inches.
