Is it just me or does it appear the 4 doors appear slightly low in the back compared to the front. Almost like a 1/2 in lift is need in the rear. I see leveling kits to raise the front. To me it’s the other way around.

I bought a rc 1” leveling kit and the more I look at my 4dr badlands it seems like it doesn’t need it.

Might have to do with the fact that the 4 door weighs more than a 2 door, and most of that weight is in the rear. The engines and trans are the same, the longer wheelbase and extra length in body and frame might be the reason why. Just a thought have no way to verify that hypothesis with scales or anything.

if you want a lift that is adjustable for that kind of thing, the Eibach systems are pretty nice.

Yah I did notice that. It's odd.

My 4 door is about a half inch, or maybe a little more, lower in the front. It’s also always had a bit of a sag towards the passenger side, but the dealership says nothing appears out of spec so 🤷🏻‍♂️

I guess it depends on how you are looking at it or measuring it. Every suv or truck I know of is designed to have rake for fuel efficiency and handling. My 4dr Sasquatch BL was 3/4" lower in the front when measured at the top of the fender/wheel wells as compared to the rear when it arrived from the factory. Maybe it is the sasquatch suspension but even with the heavy 35" spare it had alot of rake (which imo is less than stellar in appearance). Cali-lean is also pretty bad in appearance and can't be great for road manners either. You'd think those guys are on their way to race the baja. 1/2" rake to level looks perfect to me.

My Wildtrak is way higher in the back than in the front.

I need to take a tape measure to it on flat surface, but I'm pretty sure I'm almost 2 inches higher in the rear. I'm ok with a little rake, but I currently have too much imo. I do have the HOSS 3.0 package with capable bumper.

A couple factors could be that the 2.7 weighs more than the 2.3 and the capable bumper probably weighs more than both the modular and plastic bumper.

I would like to lift/level it out a touch. I don't want it completely level and certainly don't want it squatted.

Why would you do this????

Is that only when you have a passenger? If so, I presume you are comfortable sleeping on the couch. 😜

Hahahah! Ya got me…

actually though, it’s like that with no one in it. However, when someone sits on the driver side, it does level out pretty well. I only noticed it sitting in the garage, comparing the rear top edge of the roof and the garage door, it’s just slightly off
