Leaning hardtop, but need to see the cost.
Base Trim does not get Modular Hard Top as an Option. Had to move up to Big Bend to get the Option. I have seen a lot of Configs for Hard Top on Wranglers already. I am hoping we can do the same with Bronco as well to get that airy experience.

Living in SF, seems a soft top would just be asking for trouble.

We get a lot of snow where I live and play, so hard top for me.

Whatever top it comes with, then I'll see how much factory vs aftermarket is and make a decision later.

Hoping the hardtop / dual top cost is similar to the Wrangler for the 4 door.

I am thinking dual top, but hard top if I had to pick one.

Have the premium soft top on my 2 door JL Rubicon, love it. On the bronco I will be getting the hard top since this vehicle will be replacing my daily driver (Audi Q5). The hard to offers better security for the longer road trips we typically take.

May look into adding a soft top later, but will still have the Jeep so i can always just drive that if I want to quickly drop the top.

Living in the cold tundra that is North Dakota the hard top is the only way to go... I’m a bit worried about what it’s gonna run me however.

I never doubted the need for a hard top. (4 DOOR) and basing on what I saw with Jeeps, they can get expensive but the aftermark ones are even more expensive.

So I agree... I think OEM with warranty for the hardtop... then whatever aftermarket has for soft.

I hope to just remove the top over the front doors, and leave the bulkier rear on...with doors off of course ;)

After dailying a soft top S2000 for two years, I’ll never buy a soft top convertible again. Amazing car, but it sounded like a shit box rattle trap with the top up

Bulkier rear with doors off.....

Sounds like topless with a nice round rear end. I'm in. LOL

It's been a while since I had the JK soft top ; but what I do remember is deciding to unzip the windows/gate while road tripping, and not having the roll-up storage tube... Laying the pieces in the back and getting scratched up ! Once the scratches got so bad I had to buy another top. Soft tops start to look bad if you use it alot (IME).
