I don't care how long it takes. But I'll buy a Jeep to cover me while I'm waiting. If I don't like what I see in the Bronco, I'll keep the Jeep. If I don't like the Jeep, I'll trade it for the Bronco.

Getting a used convertible to beat the hell out of while waiting for the Bronco took a lot of the anxiety out of the wait.

They only way I'll go with a 2022 is if I get to keep my 2021 price and I'm in the first batch that rolls off the line.

I'm out if Ford pushes me to 2022 but then fills up the rest of this year with dealer inventory soft tops (not reservations). There was a reason why a lot of us excitedly place our reservations within the first couple of hours on day one. After waiting over a year and to get mine and end up seeing new ones sitting on lots would seriously piss me. I would continue to never have owned a Ford.

I wish - I do actually like that green. Just sold my green 96 XJ too. Once the Cabrio dies, I'll be out of green cars. lol.

So much for the screen name... Unless it's like when folks call me 'Slim'?

I've accepted for a long while now that I should expect my Bronco sometime in the first half of '22. Just the combination of options plus taking advantage of the Granger October deal. That's why I traded in my Camaro for a Jeep this spring to take care of my outdoor urges until it arrives. I'm not real concerned about timing other than I'd like to have it available at some point during outdoors season of next year. I work in the automotive aftermarket in manufacturing so I suppose I have a more forgiving view on what Ford is dealing with because it's hitting us too.

There's nothing else to walk away to so I'm in to the bitter end.
I agree with the sentiment but am on the fence about waiting it out.

Current vehicle is low miles and will meet my needs for the foreseeable future.

Is that the Eddie Bauer edition Cabriolet I've heard so much about? :p

Yeah, I created it back when we thought we were getting our vehicles early summer of 2021.

I'm a Granger October boy, so I've been planning on MY22 since the beginning.
Me too, but if everyone who thought they were getting a 21 are really getting a 22 - where does put us? 23? 24?

All a delivery date will tell me is how I need to manage my move and car situation. If it’s Q3 of 2021, I can ditch my Jeep and make it work. But if it’s Q4 or later, I need to consider hanging on to it for longer or selling while prices are high in the summer and get a beater to tide me over.

I will not be happy with anything past Q1 of 2022, but I probably still won’t cancel.
