I just built and installed a permanent air hose. Instead of dealing with a bulky 4 way, I now have 4 double ended locking chuck hoses just 4' long each.

That's fair. I started to use just a 2 way because I tired of dealing with hose tangles and bulk. Especially annoying when trying to limp along with a slow leak and frequent top ups. This mod would cost about $100 if you bought everything on amazon, less than buying a premade 4 way hose.I feel like I don't air up/down enough to put this much effort into this, but I do like the look of it.
Agree with this sentiment. 4-way’s are far too bulky and obnoxious to be that useful.. it’s kinda like (watching my wife) carry the groceries in all at once vs. two easier trips. A good 1 or 2 way system isn’t really much slower and way more practical. It’s more about the right compressor IMO.. which spoiler alert - Northern tool sellsThat's fair. I’m all for innovation but 4 way ho$e $y$tem$ tried to $olve a problem that didn’t really exist in reality (for the con$umer anyway)I stopped using the MORRflate beacuse I literally got things done faster with just the ARB host and moving from wheel to wheel. In fact I've been meaning to jsut roughly time how long it takes to air back up from 18 to 36 psi so I can simply use a stopwatch instead of having to wait the onboard pressure reading.
It's slower then my single bigger hose....I stopped using the MORRflate beacuse I literally got things done faster with just the ARB host and moving from wheel to wheel. Taking notes on your bulkhead locations Where did you locate manifold/tees?I just built and installed a permanent air hose. Instead of dealing with a bulky 4 way, I now have 4 double ended locking chuck hoses just 4' long each.
I did a Trickflate under the hood. IDK how well it's going to survive in the heat long term, that's a new location for me.Very slick install. Do you have a tank at all or do you go direct to compressor? What's your setup like on the other end? I was going to shell out for the ARB underhood joint from FP, but I don't know what my airing setup will be like. Probably a standard 2-way for me, but I might just make it myself!

My DIY 4-way hose kit fits in the same bag as my compressor. Not bulky at all. I would go with a permanent solution if I could just flip one of my accessory switches and auto-inflate, I would do that. But if I need to get out and hook stuff up manually, my DIY kit isn't significantly more effort than anything else I've seen.Agree with this sentiment. 4-way’s are far too bulky and obnoxious to be that useful.. it’s kinda like (watching my wife) carry the groceries in all at once vs. two easier trips.
