I have decided to go Nitto 38" ridge grappler on 1.5 collars, but I am dragging to see if we get some new rubber releases like the KO3s that look to be on the 23 Ranger Raptor. I have to imagine the Bronco segment is opening up doors for updated tire spec choices.

I wouldn't hold your breath even if the KO3 are released 39s will be a long ways out. They are made in different plants and bfg is slow on those just like their 42" KO2s.

As someone that runs 40s & KMC Beadlocks on a fully built 392 on 1 ton axles…I’d strongly discourage them on a BRaptor. Stick to 38s or 39” BFGs at most. 38” Ridge Grapplers should be very close in size to 39” KO2s under the vehicle. And Ridge Grapplers are a way better tire IMO. They’re load range C as well.

Honestly I’d throw true 37s on a BRaptor (37” BFGs run small) and call it good. Tons of great options for good 37s. 40s are very heavy and I don’t think they’re well suited for IFS. You will be going through balljoints, braking performance will go down, handling will go down, it’ll kill the sportiness of the BRaptor, they’re annoying to balance, etc.
Did you actually break anything on the 392 with 40s? Or just upgrade to 1 ton shit for the extra mental security?

Mental security + I was tracking down a caster problem with the stock front axle/aftermarket driveshaft. Was having vines on the highway. The 1 tons gave me free spin hubs and the Tazer lets me kill AWD in the transfer case and have true 2HI. Nice and smooth on the highway now. But yes a V8 + 40s + east coast wheeling + D44s made me a bit nervous. I like to run 7+ trails and some of those trails require a bit of wheel speed & bumping to get up ledges and stuff.

I still think 40s on IFS is ballsy if you like to wheel hard.

Agreed, if I break this the 32 spline stuff I'll upgrade to D60 and 35 spline series 30 CVs AND keep the IFS. It handles and rides Sooo much better than a solid axle.

How level is your vehicle? I went with 1.5 in the front and 2.25 in the rear to clear my 39's but have been thinking of swapping the rears for 1.5 all they way around since I have about 1.25 inches of rake.

Mine still sets higher in the back. Probably has to do with the winch. Those front spacers are a pain to install. The back ones I was able to do on the vehicle.

38's rub? I'm surprised. With the variations on actual tire height of 37's alone from one manufacturer to another one would think they would have designed in a decent buffer there.
I did a 3” lift to add my 40’s- Looks and drives great-

I have been hounding all forms of social media to get more info on the new 40” bfg Hd terrain. They look so good! 100% will be getting this tire if it comes in a 17” wheel configuration. They look like the RT type tire that bfg didn’t offer. This one was at sema. Almost looks like a bfg project with siping.
