Me and, the now wife, had our wedding this weekend. Rented the 6x12 U-Haul to take everything back to TN with us from Ohio. Trailer was just under 2k lbs empty and we pretty much filled. Cruised at about 75 the whole way home and Bronco didn’t miss a beat. Yeah fuel mileage sucked but that was to be expected. Bronco had a ton of power and didn’t really slow down up hills. Came under a ton of boost most of the time, 15-20 ft/lbs when it really was working.
Hardly could tell the trailer was there though which I was extremely impressed by. I definitely would like to do a better intercooler at some point, not that I will be towing a ton. That’s what the F250 is for. Oil temps really didn’t get high, only about 212 at its peak. Transmission temp was below 195 the whole time. Gotta say it was a good experience with towing!
For anyone that is wondering, I bought a Curt 4” drop hitch with the 2” ball
