Opened up a case with Ford to have a loaner paid for while the shop keeps the Bronco. Hopefully it is a quick turn around.

Finally fixed like it has not tripped a code and limp mode again, or just got back from the shop so wait and see?
If fixed and been some time with no code, what did it end up being so others can be aware?

The dealer ended up replacing wire assembly 7U2Z14S411, axle number MB3Z3D102A, module number MB3Z7P238D (twice) , wiring harness number MB3Z14290L, and wiring harness number MB3Z2B325BA in that order. Not entirely sure what caused this to happen in the first place other than a freeze we experienced the same day it stopped working. Seems something in one of those harnesses/ module shorted. 200 miles have been put on it and 4x4 has been engaged multiple times since I picked it up and it has had zero issues.

Glad to hear it is working again! Maybe I will see you out at 281 Country Club or Hidden Falls to give some additional testing.

Don't tempt me with a good time! I am hoping to be out there this Sunday as well if we can wrap up some work on my buddies XJ and my other buddies JK.

I’m local here as well - maybe we could take a collective trip up to marble falls one weekend?

Glad to hear your Bronco is back up and running

Lemon law would just suck. I doubt Ford could get me another Bronco. Been searching around to see if anyone has gone through this yet with their Bronco and couldn't find anything.

I was hoping to get some help on what to do here. My problem started on Feb 3rd when I got a powertrain/ reduced power malfunction on my 21 base 2.3 4 door. I had a check 4x4 and service vehicle icon pop up on my dash. The truck would not engage in 4x4. It is down on power and mpg as well. The dealer has "fixed" it and given it back to me multiple times. They have replaced some electrical connectors, a cv axle, and now the 4x4 powertrain module. I picked it up today and the same codes came right back. I am waiting for the dealer to tell me what the next move is. Has any one experienced this? I love the Bronco, I am just beyond frustrated.

I am experiencing the same issue with mine. I took it off-roading on the rubicon after having it for maybe 3 weeks. 4x4 failure and I got all of the error messages you’ve posted. I have now been to the dealer 3 times and they can’t figure it out. I’m also working with Ford’s office of the general counsel. They sent a specialist out to do a further diagnosis but I still haven’t heard the results of that.

at this point I just want them to buy it back but after waiting 2 years from initial reservation to delivery, who knows how long it will take until I can get a new one.

I'm currently having the same issues. Have an appointment next week to have it looked at. I see yours has been fixed....any issues since then?

No issues related to that problem. I have had a leaking cv axle from improper reinstallation of that part. Knock on wood its all good now. This problem was a nightmare to deal with and I hope you have a good dealer to fix it for you.
