Put in 4 low today with front and rear locker to make over a downed tree in mud hole . Made it over with no issues . But could not get it to disengage out of 4 low. Tossed up a wrench error.
trying to leave a trail in 4 low on asphalt is a bitch . Ended up pulling positive battery cable off and it reset. I miss the old yank handle 4x4 .

Having lots of personal experience with the good ole mechanical 4x4s, I remember struggling mightily with some. Some were especially sensitive to the least little bind. A trick I learned was to coast in neutral for a ways with my hands off the wheel - just let everything settle out - then pull the lever while still rolling if possible, talking nicely to the machinery all the while. Can’t help but wonder if some of that kindness & sweet talking would help with electronic 4x4?

Did you try reversing to get it to disengage? I have to do that sometimes after being in 4L with my truck.
