I have it and never use it. It slows down way too much when people switch lanes in front of you. Then you get people running up your rear end as a by product.

Well, its not just adaptive cruise control for $5K. You're going from the base package to the Lux, so you're getting everything in the Mid, high, and rest of the Lux features for that price. Adaptive CC is one of the reasons I'm springing for the Lux package.

Crazy isn't it? Ought to be standard equipment these days. Playing around in my wife's RAV, I've learned that I can live without it. After swearing I'd never get another vehicle without it. And can we talk about heated steering wheels and the freakin' garage door opener??? I don't need a $2000 sound system, ears are too old to hear it now.

it all depends on how well ford implements ACC.

of course, as pointed out earlier, it's part of the LUX package which
includes STD, MID, HIGH, and LUX

I want all the limited basic tech they offer.

ACC in my Raptor is awesome! You can set the distance between you and the vehicle in front of you. If you don't use cruise control alot then you don't need it.

ACC is awesome. It works very well on Jeep Grand Cherokee. I'll never buy another car without it.

It is being offered on motorcycles now.
