emailed my dealer's bronco specialist on monday asking if removing the tow package would help my day one reservation get into production and got "i dont think that will help anything" in reply.

i understand that some of us early reservation holders have more patience than others, but there are ways ford can get a bronco in our driveway BEFORE building late reservations:

• if MIC is the problem, screw the free sound deadening headliner and give me a soft top with the ability to pick up the MIC from a dealer later.
• if tow is the problem, build my bronco without it and let me get it installed at a dealer later.

I love this idea for to package, what's it take a cuppa too tree hours to put that summbitch in?

I think we should be able to get a full refund for our deposit. I was expecting a bronco by now or at least a build date. Anyone know if Ford will give people any of there deposit back?

The bone they throw us is priority Off-Roadeo access. How will that work? I'm registered, but wonder if they will contact me about it?

I'm glad they sent this out, because they knew they had too because of all the other times they didn't meet the expectation they set out for themselves. But, Since I already Dropped my Black Modular hard top, and now they are telling us that the MIC top is a issue, shouldn't we see some more Ford Pass points coming our way?

Are you referring to an additional deposit beyond the $100? Cause that's a shitty dealer thing.

I'm Patient so don't really care when we get these. But I do wish Ford was better at communication. Supposedly they're opening up the Off Rodeo but not even clear on that. Hope to get to the one in Austin and hea to Hidden Falls in the JL. In the meantime I'll keep enjoying my jeeps. Have the TJ out this weekend in Bama.

Is/was Webasto making the modular hard tops too? First we’re pushed to MIC unless you want modular in the Fall, many of us accepted MIC for a Spring delivery, and now MIC may not even be Fall. What about those that are sticking it out for Modular? No mention of that...

This isn't helpful at all. We all know about the constraints, and are fully aware of the rough year everyone had had. Seems like they're purposely not giving an estimated build time (i.e. Quarter 4 2021, Quarter 2 2022) so that people don't cancel their orders, instead they'll continue to treat us like mushrooms: keep us in the dark and feed us sh!t.

They are fully aware of how many orders they have vs. how many hard tops can be produced/have been produced. An estimated delivery window isn't unfathomable.

I'd also like to know if a MIC on a 2-door is more likely to get built than the 4-door MIC. Since the majority of orders are 4-door, it seems like they could potentially knock out the 2-door MC in shorter order. Or the opposite, ignore the 2-doors and expedite 4-doors. But again, who knows?

My patience is wearing thin.

You absolutely nailed it. I agree with the entirety of your post. That faceless mother effer waffling on the 2dr question like some slimy two bit politician was more than I can stomach. So, in effect you don’t know if your vehicle will be built next week or the fall of 22.
