I think we should be able to get a full refund for our deposit. I was expecting a bronco by now or at least a build date. Anyone know if Ford will give people any of there deposit back?

Your dealer has that money, not Ford. The original dealer I reserved at wanted a 10k deposit and was charging 10k over MSRP. I changed dealerships, got my 100 back, and no deposit needed at new dealership. Now just need my build date!

I went to delete my brush guard/safari bar/bull $#!% two weeks ago and was told they couldn't do it because I had a VIN. It may be fugly, haha, but I'll take it. I feel very fortunate, and I hope I'm not counting my broncos before they buck!

All kidding aside my salesman literally just called me and said, “hey just talked to my GM and he says they got an update from Ford that if you switch to soft top you could get your bronco sooner’. Ya I’d be down with that on my late reservation 2 door

He says “lemme check with him again and make sure. LOL

If my dealership does this i am absolutely going to lose it.

The dealer didn't do anything wrong. Problem lies with the orders and Ford not being able to build them. If people aren't willing to modify their orders to help make them buildable there is nothing the dealer or Ford can do. I don't fault the customer for wanting what they want or Ford for not being able to get certain parts in needed volumes. These are the options we have as of today and will only have for about 2 weeks.

so, if i change from base 2 door sas to 4 door sas w soft top will i get my bronco any sooner??? currently a priority at dealer but nothing to date??

And no 2.7L engine, Lux or Sasquatch Package, Badlands/Wildtrak, Safari Bar or Trailer Tow package. I believe that should do it.

What they should do is allow people to purchase dual tops, ship the bronco with soft top to the dealer, and ship the hard top directly to the dealer when available at no extra cost to the buyer.

Dealers can place orders for hard tops directly from the manufacturer based on client orders and therefore avoid shipping to manufacturer.

when it becomes available, the client can come in and get it installed.
