When shipped by convoy, do you end up with a tracking number? I am interested in how long it takes to actually leave MAP after the shipped notification is emailed?

I have a freight ID number but I have no idea what it means.
I also have a freight ID and an est delivery of 5-20 to 5-26. The destination is only a few hours from the plant, so I am trying to figure out if I will know it is shipped before it gets delivered.

My dealer is about 15 minutes from the plant. Today was the first day in my range for delivery. It seems the teamsters are faster than the pizza tracker.

Mine has been at the rail destination for three days.. my dealership is less than an hour away… I keep staring at my phone waiting for that callSame destination for mine. I was able to track the rail car to Blue Island, IL on Sunday night. No tracking available after that since it switches to BNSF. I was at my dealership last night to get trade in estimate and they said once in IL it’s been taking 2-3 days to get to them, so I might have it soon

good question. I got shipped notification on Monday. I contacted ford chat today to see if I could get railcar number and they just said “it’s in transit it. Expected 6/5-6/12”

I just got a super detailed updated from the chat. my bronco is on ramp 4g in Michigan today, and will head out soon via cassens transport. ETA May 20-26. They even gave me a tracking number for the transport company but I haven’t found a place to insert it on their website.
We are there at the Automotive Terminal.My Bronco, which I have yet to come up with a creative name for, is on schedule to be arriving at the East Brookfield, Mass. Rail yard this afternoon. I wonder how long it will take to transfer and truck it the 200 miles to my dealer. It's slowly but surely moving closer!
Hopefully last few miles happen quickly. In my case with my dealership, another Bronco took about 8 days for delivery to the dealer last month. My rep said she has seen fives days to three weeks before being released from terminal.
