I pay about $4.50 for 91 at Costco in CA. It's closer to $5 for 91 if it's not at Costco. So far I've only used 91 from Costco with ~ 1100 miles.
But you burn half a tank waiting in line! :)

haha....I try to go at off peak times so I wait about 5-7 minutes. I normally turn off the auto start / stop feature, but last time I was waiting for gas I thought about enabling it.....still didn't, but it crossed my mind for 1/2 second...hah

Meh I can afford premium, so I’ll use it. Few extra ponies can’t be all bad.

I didn't read all 11 pages...so someone may have done this already...93 octane is about $0.50 more a gallon than 87. If you drive 20,000 miles a year and you average 18 mpg that is 1111 gallons of fuel or $555 extra to run 93 for the year. People get all worked about premium fuel prices (understandably), but at the end of the day it ain't much. Under $50 a month...just eat out one less time (assuming family of 3-4) and cook at home. Even Steven.

Didn't FORD report considerably higher HP with premium?
While it wasn't my best joke, it was a series of play on words with the OP misspelling "waist". I don't even know what I wrote really.

Probably mostly due to high compression ratios........
Indeed. Gas has the same energy potential, but can provide more "work" by controlling combustion.

Also get about 2-4 miles more per gallon with 93. Saves about 388 of the 555 cost. It's cheap to get smooth performance and better efficiency

I'm getting 13-15 mpg ill never turn the auto start / stop off. If it saves me an extra 1 mpg I'll take it lol

I’ve only been putting regular into mine, 3800 miles. Runnin fine.
Same here, I have 9600 miles, 2 cross country trips and lots of off roading. Haven't noticed any issues even at 10000 ft. At higher altitudes acceleration suffers a little but ok, that's with 2.3L NonSAS

I'm getting about 14.6 from the computer (probably not entirely accurate) and I'd rather pay a bit more at the pump than wear shit out quicker with it shutting off and on all the time. Also, the few times I tried it I don't like the slight delay on the off chance I need to accelerate quickly. Maybe I'm just a boomer....haha
