$620 markup for 2DR Bestop Trek top in twill?

Is Ford really marking up the 2 door Twill Bestop $620, or is that a pricing error? It seems like a 37% markup over Bestops full MSRP price is a bit much.

I think you get the hard top along with it. The bestop comes through your dealer parts department and either they or you can install it then.

I think you get the hard top along with it. The bestop comes through your dealer parts department and either they or you can install it then.
This is the price for the soft top only on the accessory catalog.

Sounds about right. 25-30% is about minimum for OEM parts catalogs of outsourced products.

Typically they sell in low volumes to folks who don't shop or do anything aftermarket. Pay to play!

For everyone else not dedicated to wrapping consumable parts into their monthly payment plus interest, you shop elsewhere.

Now.....to decide where I'm buying it. I think direct from Bestop with a lifetime warranty for $620 less is the right choice.

To be fair, they are charging the same price for 2 or 4 door top (according to the B&P). It's possible there are price changes at time of delivery or in the order sheets but I wouldn't bet on it!
