67 Designs and Archetype Racing - matches up really well

It’s a combination that works really well and I like the options I have now. Archetype Racing SLAP combined with 67 Designs carbon fiber arms and a Bronco Ball. I’ve got another arm waiting for AR’s BALLS and I’ll have a place for something else like a GoPro.

I also got AR’s Badlands plate and I love it. The correct screws are on the way, but I couldn’t resist installing it. Love this setup.

What correct screws, for the vin plate? He didn't mention them with the order I received, did he produce some after the fact?

He has some specific screws which weren’t ready yet, will ship with the BALLS when they come in. I’m honestly not sure what they look like but I’ll post an updated pic when they come in.

How did you mount the MagSafe charger on the 67designs arm?

67 Designs has a MagSafe holder with an adhesive pad, designed to attach a MagSafe puck from Apple. The combination is really nice, way better than my old RAM setup. Just snap in place and it’s very secure, and charges. Perfect.

I've got one of each. I got the 20mm Bronco Ball from 67 Designs with a matching arm/end - this is the one in the picture, I use for my phone. I also got a 1" B.A.L.L. from AR because...well their writeup is hysterical and I was on about beer #4 at the time. So I also have a second arm with the 1" end for that one, and that's where the Go Pro goes.

None at all, and I’ve been on fast and slow off road trails, completely solid. I do use a 13 mini, but the MagSafe connection is really solid, I’m sure the bigger phones would be fine too.

Thanks. I’ve got the 67 Design arms connected to an AR BYOD rail and a Course Motorsports phone holder with an 11 and it has some vibration. I’ll have to check and make sure everything is tight enough.

Good to know. I ordered nearly the same setup today, AR mounting bracket and 1” ball and 67 Designs arm and mag phone holder. Is it easy to swap the Bronco mounting bracket for AR one?

The old one comes out easy enough. You're putting the screws in blind when you install the new one, but it's not bad.
