Anyone find a company out there that makes a weighted shift knob? I tried calling around, but no luck yet.
and yes - I know Boomba makes one, and honestly...
1. it looks ugly (esp. with their big bolded name wrapped around it)
2. no textured option (I prefer the feel of the OEM)

Thanks

I've been looking also and have only come across Boomba right now that produces it. I tried telling @Mabett we need him to create one for us that is better looking lol

I would love to find a weighted shift knob that looks like the leather/wooden shift knob Ford showed in the pre-production Bronco

I've been looking on and off for a couple years. I've seen some nice ones on etsy that were turned on a lathe but prices have doubled or tripled over the last year, and none are like the reveal prototype

I feel like this is one of those custom pieces that would be right up the alley of @EIGHTLUG and AR. Less editions to make since you can't get MT in everything anyways.

Shift knobs are coming. The really really saucy kind. 😉

I appreciate that Boomba made something for such a small audience but I'm with you, it isn't for me.

Might be able to pop the cap off the stocker and drill some holes in the body to fill with metal slugs. But even with lead I'm not sure you'd get enough mass to really be noticeable.

Just installed a Boomba and I love it. If you need texture then wear your leather driving gloves

Sorry, I didn’t buy their short throw shifter too but I let my 17 yo DD drive the Bronco to school so she doesn’t need that extra encouragement just yet.

Looks like the adapter will raise the factory shifter height by about 1"... I'm out on that. Gonna order a hurst 6" lay back today and build a custom setup eliminating the factory lockout. I'll post pics.
