Still confused on what’s going on.

I've been in this same boat for a little over a week now.
Based on how some people have said they never saw the tracker switch and took delivery.....along with the fact that my dealer said it was scheduled for 9/2-9/8 I'm convinced the tracker just stops progressing for some people.

My fathers 8/17 blend switched to in transit overnight we are less than 2 hours from map so it should be delivered today.

Chatted with Ford chat about the "in production" status on the pizza tracker with a date of 8/19...

"Our records show the current status as "In Production" right at this moment. It shows the latest estimated date for delivery to your dealership as 9/11/22."

8/25 update

Agent "Thank you for holding, Shawn. It looks like your vehicle was produced on August 19th. You should expect your vehicle to arrive at your dealership no later than September 8th."

Me " you telling me it will be at the dealer no later then 9/8 or its leaving the plant no later then 9/8? "

Agent " It should arrive to your dealership no later than September 8th, but this is just an estimate and it can be subjected to change."

Agent " That was the last update we have at the moment. That it was produced on August 19th. You should however also get an email from Ford or your dealership or both when the vehicle has shipped "

Another day, another answer, all get different Reponses/answer from agent to agent. This we shall call Forussian Roulette

EDIT 10:36p Dealer has emailed me stating the ETA for delivery is 9/2-9/8

Ford chat told me est delivery is 9/3-9/9. Its getting real. Bld date was 8/16. Mods up and tare tag.

The tare tag... Is it a picture of a tag or just numbers under your VIN#? If I got numbers there what does that mean?

I interpret this as the last step to make the vehicle control modules all sync'd up and active. The tear tag can be used to assign all the control modules to that particular vehicle. Not sure that is the best interpretation, but if you have a tear tag, I feel that essentially means your vehicle is completed off the assembly line, but that may not mean fully built if you have factory installed options that require additional work.....i.e. roof rack, PPF, etc. If anyone else knows differently, please enlighten us.
