Talked to Ford Marketing today was told I had VIN assigned. 8/15 Build week and 8/27-9/2 delivery date. Only status in writing I have is the attached that showed my VIN and pic of vehicle. How do you get the page that shows "In production"? One of those things when you are told something, but don't see it, you don't believe it. Although assigning a VIN seems like a positive step.

If your build week is 8/15, then you’re not in production yet . You’ll see it move to Production on your build week.

Yeah, I noticed a build date on the order tracker last week. I still have not gotten anything else from Ford or my dealer. I am in a stage of disbelief until something else confirms this. It seems that all the waiting up until now was nothing, now the real wait begins!

I called and they said the correspondence starts when the vehicle is actually in production. I got my VIN number by calling. Directionally exciting.

My dealer informed me Saturday 07/23/2022 that my VIN has been assigned with production week of 08/15/2022. Ford online chat is telling me the same but I have not received any emails. Hopefully this schedule remains true...

I got my info through the chat also. i was trying to find out how my order was listed so i could make plans fully expecting to be pushed to 2023. i was surprised when hey said i had a vin assigned, build week of 8/15 and projected delivery of 8/19-8/25. i highly doubt that delivery date is accurate. A buddy of mine ordered a raptor from the same dealership and has been waiting for a month on delivery.

I just received an email from my dealer that I was assigned a vin! The tracker shows an 8/15 build date, but it looks like you all were assigned this build date weeks ago. I know mine did not have a build date yesterday so what’s the story. Are they backfilling order dates based on parts availability? I’m with granger and not near the top of the list.
