I get that they have a price point to adhere to but it would have been nice if it had a wider stance as those tires look so narrow especially from the rear view.

So every Sport has been running an obsolete OS which support will be dropped.
Agreed that the Sport should have come with Sync 4 from the beginning.

For those willing, there could probably a homemade upgrade path. I upgraded Sync in my wife's '14 Escape, going from Sync 2 to Sync 3. The process required about 20 minutes to replace the APIM/screen and the SD card reader with USB/C. The only drawback is that it's not inexpensive (though comparing with what people spend on Bronco upgrades it is 😆). It makes the car seem newer, and the screen is higher density, and of course, the software (particularly the nav) is a quantum leap better.

It's getting the 5.0 put in it.

That is what I meant to imply. There is no software update to migrate from 3 --> 4. It requires hardware and the associated costs.

It didn't make sense to me that a brand new model would be introduced with an obsolete OS.

This was spotted some tiem ago and is likely this Sasquatch package - notice the "GOODYEAR GOODYEAR" tires, slightly wider plastif flares and new bumper guards/hooks.

The big changes for the '25 appear to be new front/rear bumpers, grille, 360 camera, and as pointed out above, a new larger screen inside with Sync 4 similar to Maverick (and Escape). The center air vents will now be horizontal to accommodate the screen.

Ford has really lost the plot on grille designs. In that color, those bumper plates are Raptor level ugly as well. :puke:

Please call it something other than Sasquatch....Maybe a Yeti. A Bronco Sport is not a Bronco...

It’s the replacement to the 2012 Escape.

I don’t mind the Bronco Sport, they’ve grown on me. Yeah, they lack the off-road capabilities of a Bronco, but they do share some of the same styling, which I like. Plus, it seems like they’re selling a pile of them.
