8/9: Broncos ARE Scheduling This Week (For Now)!

I don’t believe those with VINs and already built Broncos are in purgatory due to a lack of “parts” availability. By that I mean, VINs are assigned once all parts are available for that specific build. Although, I suppose a MIC top is a part, the issue is primarily, serviceable MIC tops. They assumed they would have a top available based on Webasto production numbers, however quality issues threw a monkey in the wrench and a huge bottleneck was created.

So basically…..every 5 weeks, or so, Ford schedules a week of builds. That must be the same math the federal government uses to balance the budget.

So now the question becomes do I switch to a soft-top before Thursday or stick with the hard-top and hope it doesn’t get built just to sit in the elements till December?!? Which brings up a different question, would Ford leave topless Broncos sitting in purgatory during Michigan winters?

looking at that chart its a joke, 90% of the other vehicles are being scheduled for late september or sometime in october. bronco only for one week in august. and like others here have said existing builds have already been pushed through september and october. that means from this point on it could be many weeks before they issue VIN's again. and when they do it would only be VIN's to fill in the few holes they have open in the schedule between other builds. So if your VIN less like me and many others, just start your planning for a mid winter delivery at best. remember job 1 for MY22 is 12/13. what a joke, end up wait year+ for a vehicle.

Agreed! Mine was supposedly built on 8/05, but I haven’t gotten the official “built” email from Ford. Hoping the additional scheduling doesn’t negatively impact current “in production” Broncos.

Call your dealer, mine confirmed that my 8/6 BD has been built. Good luck!

Yep. Last week burst my bubble. I flipped my Ford calendar to August on Monday and it was Bronco R. I thought the planets were aligning. Then they pulled the rug out. I’ve lost hope. Why schedule a week at the end of this month when current VINS are being pushed to September? Gotta be FE’s.
