12 inch is superior. 8 inch is too small!

I've seen them both in person. No doubt in my mind that the 12" is the way to go.

Hate to
I miss when we didn't have laptop screens in our cars. Just get rid of them.
Be the one who breaks it to you but the screens are only getting bigger. Thank Tesla for that trend.

Remember that although the diagonal difference is only 4 inches, the area is more than doubled

Area of 8 inch aprx 27.35 sq inches
Area of 12 inch aprx 61.5 sq inches

27.35 * 2.25 =61.5375

High package gets you a screen that's about 125% more area than the regular screen

Thats probably a personal preference. I actually quite like it on the new F150 because it's far away and off to the side more, but in the Bronco its closer to your face. Some people will probably find it distracting.
Some people like 12 inches in their face. My cheating ex was one.

The 12" sync 4 system supports running two "apps" on the screen at once on the new f150. We'll have to wait and see but I'd be a little surprised if that feature of sync 4 will be supported on the 8". It would get cramped on the screen. Same reason the 12" screen and 360 cameras are packaged together.

Someone else posted this in another thread. It shows the new sync 4 system and how the dual apps work. I'd say it's a safe bet that at least the 12" bronco will have this feature.
