Apparently my dealer thinks the Bronco that I ordered is theirs and they can charge me more than MSRP. Oh also Ford Motor Company doesn't care. I'm about to go buy a Rubicon....

Somehow I believe you won’t be the only one. I looked up this dealer and they also have a Badlands for the same price.

I would love to see Ford make an example out of a few dealerships over things like this and various other crap I have heard on here that people have dealt with. Whatever some dealer’s ultimate intention is with ads like this, it’s just a bad look overall after many over the past year have reserved, ordered, and put down payments on these Broncos. What bothers me is that dealers didn’t have to buy, store, hope people come in, and then convince people to buy them. Ford is providing a vehicle that truly sells itself. Many people are paying full MSRP and accept that as part of the deal, yet for some dealers easy sales that they had to do nothing for is not enough and for the right price one can skip the line. Some dealers got the orders and had done zero customer service through the process which is crap. I feel strongly that not a single one should be sold until all customer orders are fulfilled but we all know how it works and that’s not reality.

You could pay your handpicked priority order guy 10 grand for giving up the order and still pocket $30K for the dealership. That’s about a years pay for a mediocre sales guy in one vehicle..

That's in response to the 80% Name match rule on Customer Ordered Broncos. I don't recall reading anything on if they sell the Mannequin early.

Totally agree and glad you aren't, but if they try to add on $3-5k it will hands down be the worst money they have ever made in their career. Not to be arrogant, but I know everyone in this county that has influence and I will take it personally.

No, you have to pay MAS before delivery. It's just the way the military auto sales program works with Ford's worldwide direct market operations (WDMO).
