I always wondered what happened to the preproduction/test units. They really destroy them?

I wonder why Edge production is so low.

Just wanted to point out that they also made nearly 10,000 Rangers at MAP in a month that had tooling change-over, down-time and substantial time dedicated to sorting out Bronco production.

Now, if we conveniently ignore all aspects of just-in-time manufacturing and global shortages of labor, parts and materials (as many have done on here), then this is a very good sign that MAP will be producing a lot of Broncos. Especially as they are over-producing Rangers to clear the way for higher Bronco production than will be necessary in a few years time.

MY22 production starts in December... So people will be receiving MY21s into January 2022 (with the normal delay between build and shipment).

Differences in production numbers have everything to do with factory size / capacity, efficiency, experience, etc etc etc.

Ford will be churning out Broncos by the time we get to the end of the year... but they're also only making them at one factory interspersed with Rangers.

Contrast that with F150 production... multiple factories making only them, around the clock.
My contact at my dealer told me Ford said no f150s before March, but that they received some in January... so he thinks the summer delivery of Broncos could be worst case... he apparently and I did not know the difference in number of factories :(

Either crushed or put in a museum for display. It's not in Ford's best interest to sell these out of liability issues -- if someone decides to drive it and crash it without any emissions or safety certification, Ford can be held legally accountable.

When will I take delivery of my vehicle?
Bronco deliveries begin June 2021 and are expected to extend through 2022 calendar year. In May 2021, customers who have placed an order will receive an estimated delivery window. Actual delivery times will vary based on reservation timestamp, vehicle model and configuration selected, part constraints, and the number of Bronco vehicles your dealer will receive. See your dealer for more details.
