Humbly and respectfully, I dedicate this thread to would-be Bronco buyers, and current Bronco owners, who would be purchasing a new 2025 2-door Heritage Edition, Everglades, Wildtrak, or a powertrain combination terminated for 2025.

Let us talk to Mr. Hyde directly, in a constructive manner. My life-long background lies in commercial trucks where I found customer feedback invaluable, ensuring that I was on the right track with my product offerings.

Let's share our thoughts with Mr. Hyde, who surely follows the superb Bronco 6G forum.

Me personally, when I saw that the Hot Pepper Red OBX my wife liked was equipped with the 2.7, I was very happy. When I saw that it also had a locking rear differential, I was much happier. Oh wait, it also has Advanced 4x4 without the (to us) unnecessary Sasquatch package? SOLD!

Now that that config is unavailable, I can say this: should some numbnuts total my Bronco, I likely won't return at this point as Ford doesn't offer what I want.

Ford couldnā€™t build the 2dr v6 heritage I had on order for 2 years so they just gave up tryingā€¦since 2dr v6 is no longer available I am no longer a customer.

Why does anyone care Wildtrak is gone? It's superfluous now due to other options, unless you really want tan trimmed seats, in which case ... seat covers.

Some people want a WIldtrak, just as you respectfully wanted a Badlands.
I know some like the Wildtrak name, and many love those black rims. Wildtrak is a unique trim level.
My motto is, "sell the customer what they want".

You're tried to get his attention numerous times on here now, you may be better off trying to find his email and contacting him directly.
Although I'm guessing the chances of getting a reply either way will be slim to none.

In the auto industry, I've found there are three types of management:

A. The down-to-earth managers who enjoy connecting with the customers and dealers. They realize that, in their busy schedule, it's easy to lose that connection with what's going on in the field. It causes them to think, from time to time, "I didn't realize...................". The ability to be humble and "listen" is one of their most important tools for success. Bill Ford exemplifies this type of person.

B. The second type is disconnected from the customer base and dealers, sure that their vision for the brand and product pipeline is ideal. They're not terribly interested in feedback.

C. The gold cufflinks type who are disconnected from reality and business.

So it sounds like Mr. Hyde is somewhere between B and C.

That said, clearly coming 2025 Base model is a sad joke and set up for failure in many ways.

1. Price is too high compared to the alternatives (nearly the same price as a non-sasquatch Badlands or a Heritage Edition).

2. No 2.7 availability in the Base.

3. Late and limited availability for the Base (expected to be less than 10%, and roughly 1% if you want a 2 door).

4. No options for the base (other than the Sasquatch package or automatic transmission). Seriously, no aux switches?

If the Base was about $3-5k cheaper, it might make sense.

The final straw with the 2025 lineup is the ridiculous decision to only allow the 2.7 to be available in a $75k 2 door limited edition.

A two door Black Diamond with the 2.7 is where I would have gone.
I have a 2dr BD with the 2.3. At the time I ordered it the 2.7s were having problems. I test drove a 2.3 BB and felt it was good enough. With the 4.46 gears and my 33" tires I have absolutely 0 complaints. Ive since driven a 2 BB with the 2.7 and 3.73 (or whatever) gears and honestly was underwhelmed.

Mr Hyde is part of the problem (no offense). In most cases the Vehicle Brand Managers are not real car guy's and definitely don't listen to the customers.

That's gearing/wheels/tires and not the motor.

My 2 door 2.7 Bronco OBX stock ran [email protected] and 0-60 in 6.5 seconds. The 2.3 doesn't even come close to that.

Far be it from me to be a Ford apologist. I own a 2022 2dr Badlands non sas with a 2.7 that I paid 50k for on 1/23/22. Best vehicle purchase in my lifetime.

I understand why people buy the 4 door. It just isn't me. And given the sales record over the past couple of years it's clear that my taste is in the minority. Such is life.

Do you really think 1 person at Ford has the ability to make the decisions about how the vehicle is going to be offered for each model year? Do you even think he has a say in it? Balancing customer wants with government regulations, company profits and quality is not something any one person would ever have a say over in a company with 100000 employees. Doxing one employee who probably can only talk to the public with someone from the PR department there seens idiotic.

Seriously? A whole different trim level for a name and different colored fake bead lock rings? Okey dokey.
