I think I’ve read darn near every thread here regarding the aftermarket installs.
1) I planned to use the Curt LED wiring harness.
2) My boat trailer has surge breaks with a reverse lockout. I initially planned to tap into the Curt harness for the reserves signal but after reading a few posts it sounds like there isn’t enough power to send a signal since the lights are LED. I was thinking if either usingthis or a 7 pin adapter.
3) if I just go the regular 4 pin route I really hate the look of having the 4 pin adapter hanging back there and I don’t really want to screw it to the bumper. Has anyone found a receiver that the 4 pin attaches to and looks clean? I really would like to use this but I highly doubt I’ll find a receiver that it works with cleanly.
