Stopped at the grocery store on the way home from the dog park. It’s gorgeous outside right now in Phoenix, so the tops been down for the last week or so. Meet Charlie, my Long Hair German Shepard. He’s a perfect deterrent while the top is down. Though he’s more than likely to lick them to death.

Beautiful dog, man. We gotta set up a play date with my puppy. He's about 55lb now, quite a bit bigger since you saw him last.

Looking forward to the next trail, brotha!

I have a couple of GSD’s myself; great dogs. Actually getting ready to remove a back seat so they both fit comfortably in the back.

Forgive me ahead of time for not recognizing trims or interiors, but any of you have the MGV? and if so how are you handling your furry friends? Will it hold up or are you putting some form a seat liner in there for them? Wife and I have a soon to be 1 year old Golden doodle. He is all about car rides in the '97 wrangler, so pretty sure he isn't going to let me go anywhere without tagging along when I get my Badsquatch (hopefully next month).

If he's like mine, there's a big world out there, his job, cover it with hair...
Dude it’s out of control. The ONIY advantage with a Long Hair GS is it comes off in clumps so it’s easier to pick up.

I have the MGV. Zero issues with it so far in regards to his nails. His nails are also trimmed constantly (wifey is a groomer). 99.9% of the time he’s in the way back. I did move him to the rear seats while I was at the store so people couldn’t really see him because the top was down. Plus I didn’t want him in the direct sun. We have a GearShade Bimini, so he was covered being in the back seat.
