I asked my wrap guy about wrapping the grill (textured black diamond grill). After an initial test we determined we can at least get vinyl to stick well, so we went all in. I’m aware it may not last long, and if/when it starts to look bad we are gonna hydro dip it, but this was a fun experiment and I like how it turned out.

I'm surprised at how much I like the grey grille! The lighter color makes it stand out from the stock black, but not too much, just enough. Nice job!
Tell us about the other mods.

Looking good! I am waiting on my matte black white backlit letters…should be here any day, and it should look pretty similar with the BL grill.

What did it cost, I don't like the gloss black on my WT. Think I might go matte.

Yeah should look very similar. And I way prefer black letters over white on any of the grills

Easier to just trade with someone who bought a different trim. There are plenty of people who want the WT grills.

Only other one like the WT is the badlands and it's grey'ish if I'm not mistaken. I like the way the WT looks other than the gloss.

Yeah the models to trade for would be either base or black diamond to get the flat black look

Well at least the WT grills should be the best ones for getting the vinyl to stick to them If you go that route.

I’m curious about the hydro-dipping you mention. I really want a chrome grille as it will go best with the rest of my exterior. I was planning on waiting till someone came out with an aftermarket chrome option, but I wonder if hydro-dipping could work. Any chance you could ask your bud about it?

I can paint your grille matte black for cheap, but it would be paint, not a wrap.
Ballpark probably looking at $150 all materials and labor included.
Not sure how close you are to NC there in TN, but maybe something could be worked out if you are interested.

I appropriate the offer, but I'm in Middle TN so I would say it's a decent ride.

He hasn’t bought the hydro dipping machine yet, it’s his next purchase, so I really have no idea but I imagine it’s do-able. Maybe call around. I’d be curious to know as well
