My insurance company says they’ll cover the damage caused by the Rover being launched over the 200ft cliff side.

Should have said, "stayed out of the dealership for more than 6 months at a time." Land/Range Rovers have almost the worst quality and reliability record.

Complain all you want, Land/Range Tata Motors (the Indian company that actually owns Jaguar/Land Rover) quality is among the worst in the world (verified vis Consumers Reports).

Funny thing is most Land Rover owners will deny deny deny that their vehicles spend so much downtime at the dealers.

I guess they don't want to admit the purchase was 95% a vanity thing.

They're just keeping up the tradition of British automotive QA. So the downtime is a feature they willingly paid for and not a bug. Standard even, not an optional feature. No one can say Tata isn't generous!
