thats why its a calibration. you measure based on the front and rear tires and split the difference.

I don't think that's very complicated.

Also, consider if a photo is taken with a wider angle lens, it could cause the object to appear longer. Reason being as the object gets further to the edges of the photo, the object appears to stretch. To be precise, I think both photos being compared, should be taken with the same lens magnification.

(Edit: I guess you could identify/correct for the situation I mentioned, by measuring the height of the tire, compared to the width. If both of those measures do not match, then you will know the object is experiencing some "stretch" due to lens distortion.)

ok, I have gone back and did several measurements in several ways on several of the spyshots and have gotten the following results fairly consistently:

wheelbase: 114 inches
legnth: 14 feet

take this as you will.

can you check for overall length without bumpers?
WB = 3.25 tires (34.4*3.25) 112”
length (less the bumpers) 4.75 tires (34.4*4.75) 164” or 13.7’ so 14ft or so

Using 34.7 for the tires, I came up with 174 overall (bumper to bumper) and 115 for center cap to center cap.

Not sure why I used 34.7 though...I aint going back and redoing that math haha. It's in line with what y'all posted.

But yeah...No way is this 16 feet long. The only way this truck has 16' long bodywork is if those tires are over 37" tall.

How is a 4dr Bronco going to be shorter than an FJ.. Google says the FJ is 184"...
Dunno...But JLU is 188 (pretty sure that includes the spare, which we're not including here).

I still want a 2 door but I'm hoping the 4 door is 112". That seems like a perfect size to me and might even persuade me to get 4 door.

If my 2 cents are worth anything (I know they aren't) this seems the most logical.

Same. Either way, I'll be happy.
4 door if the wb is 112.
If it's 124, then the 2 door will be about 108ish which even better!
