Ford automatically adds the bracket to orders without it if it's ordered for a California dealer.Any word on the front license plate delete or don’t install option?
Typically speaking, in the past Ford did not install the brackets at the factory, but we noticed that Mach-Es were coming in with brackets pre-installed from the factory, a few of the CA dealers let Ford know that that is a problem for many customers, and hopefully they won't continue it on Bronco.
For the record though, some Ford products already have holes drilled from the factory for License Plate brackets, notably the Raptor has always had pre-drilled holes in the metal bumpers.
@EricAtKearnyMesaFord We've always told our techs not to install brackets on enthusiast models, as we can always add them later if the customer prefers.
