40” tires and a 4” lift? I’m too lazy to look it up, but I bet the wrangler forum has already figured out what it means.

I'd say fording depth since it looks like water behind the sign. But could also be mpg on the hybrid?

40" Tires in the back, 4" Tires in the front, Rat Fink style? (it's a joke, btw)
40" Water fording depth with a factory 4" lift? (agreed with above poster who saw the water in the background...could be a clue)
40MPG on a 4wd platform?
Bringing back the 4.0 on the 4WD platform ?

To be fair that would cover all or most of the the commute for the majority of people.
And like all EV "miles to empty" numbers, it is at 55 mph, windows up, air and heat off, no lights, no radio, no wipers, no seat heaters, etc. Any deviation from this will reduce that number significantly (driving with traffic on the way to work for me, 70-75, would probably cut it in half, especially on a vehicle with the aerodynamic profile of a Jeep, plus I am not sweating all the way to work, so either top off/windows down or air on...)

Yeah, I would guess this is going to be their answer to the Sasquatch package: 40” tires. Go big or go home. Not sure they would get a lot of takers; 40” is not highway friendly.
Jeep is already not highway friendly!

Maybe a 40s era topless Willys or early CJ re-issue

Sign looks old and like its from the outback or something

Jeepster beach concept?

Ah. You may be on to something there. Looks interestingly similar to the profile on the sign. Wonder how the 40.4 correlates.
We need a master sleuth on this case, stat!

I read a real-time report of ~25 miles with the 17.3kw 4xe, so 50 miles isn't that far out of the question.

40.4kw at our rates would be about $4.50. If that gives you 50 miles, that's pretty darn good.
