I stopped and took a look at this baby on the way home from the Bronco event in Richmond, VA yesterday evening.

At a local South Florida dealer, I saw a white base 4 door, with white steel wheels, for $55,000. I felt badly that I liked it. Similar feeling to liking your best friend's girlfriend.

I love the defender (the older generation) and the current generation 2 door is pretty cool but not $67k cool I don’t think.

Agree. I was definitely interested but cost and reliability issues just were too much for me to overcome. Plus the top doesn't come off. Its a '21/22 Wildtrak for me.

If you can’t drop the top or doors, just hard to compare. I’d go decked out 4Runner if that were the case and get Toyota reliability, maybe a gently used land cruiser.

A soccer mom relative had a Ranger Rover. Fancy and all. Traded it in on a Chevy Suburban. She said the Range Rover was in the shop too much. And that was over 6 years ago.

Definitely looks incredible. But have you tried the B&P equipping one the same as a FE? I’m sure it’ll be way more than a few bucks. Also this: “if it weren’t for LR’s legendary reliability issues and repair costs it would be a compelling case.” That’s always the reminder for me.
