Took some friends out to experience what Gatekeeper has to offer on the Rubicon. Been through a dozen or so times with both Jeep and Bronco now.
Took the group in through Gatekeeper into Granite Bowl just to get them a taste of what the trail has to offer.
All did exceptionally well for their first time and I ended up getting the most stuck haha.
Stock 2 dr Sasquatch did well with no upgrades of any kind.
Raptor struggled a bit in spots due to girth but made it through. The Raptor driver is a friend and retired. He has been taking that Raptor out almost every weekend since he got it two years ago and absolutely uses it

This was the first weekend since the snow melted so trail was more rutted then normal and I noticed a distinct difference from last year.
All in all had a blast and enjoyed some great company on the Rubicon. These people are not shy about using their Broncos and tackling obstacles.

Great vid and looks like you had a blast! Thanks for sharing.

One suggestion, maybe include the words bronco and bronco 2 door in your video description somewhere. I'm a little ashamed to admit that I go looking for bronco vids on YouTube, so it might help someone like me find your vid.

Thanks, I’ve been doing the KBD. Super cheap and holdup very well to scraping and smacking on rocks. It’s hard to get the adhesive to stay well so they can peel off a bit. They also fade quickly but are paintable. I’m a off-road guy so I don’t mind those things as they hold up so well (scrapped all over the rocks and no issues).

Nice! Wait, do you mean they are mounted by adhesive only?

Ahem, anti matter blue haha.

It’s Metalcloak bumper with Warn Evo VR10-S. Ultrahook from factor 55.

Fantastic setup, bumper has proven very strong against rocks and has excellent clearance.

Would you recommend the Zroads sliders (seen on the 2 door)?
They seem solid but are body mounted.

There are very few sliders that I recommend. The Bronco is heavy and when smacked on rocks, the sliders take a ton of abuse. Scrapping on the occasional rock should be ok but if you’re pivoting on them, falling down into rocks, etc. Metaltech is the way to go. These are custom sliders on mine. I love the kick outs but they do bend a bit.
