So the very first time I used my wipers, I ended up with a streak on the drivers side, a few inches from the right side end. Wiped and washed, but it ended up being a Nick in the blade itself.
Because such things bother me, I swapped the passenger and drivers side blades around.the very next time I used my wipers, guess what....?
Yup...a tear/Nick in the exact same spot!
Can't feel anything on the glass that would if caused it...
And it's probably a stretch to think anyone else has had this issue...
🤷

Mine both look fine, held up well through intense storms on the drive home from the dealership

That's sucks if they are trashed already but if you need new ones go to auto in parts store and get the rainex brand they have the liquid rainex infused into them they are awesome. A bit pricey but worth it.

Didn't happen to use your wipers while they were frozen to your windshield, did you?
Nope...and when I say the nick is in the same spot, I mean it's in the SAME spot...lol

Did you take a close look below the windshield? Maybe there’s something sharp sticking out where the wipers sit in the off position.

All I have to add is: I'm not impressed with the quality of the "wipe" the factory blades provide. Kind of shitty actually, in my opinion.
Only 5k miles on mine, since Oct 8th, I need to replace them.

At least the arms/blades are short so they shouldn't charter like crazy in the cold like most cars

Chalk it up to "shit happens" and get some new ones. Probably a manufacturing defect then.
New ones....and have them tear? Lol. Maybe I can convince my dealer to replace them for free

I would be careful with that razor blade. I bought a new Charger and they had written sales info on the glass with those big grease crayons. They used a razor blade to get it off and scratched 2 windows. They both had to be replaced. Brand new vehicle.
