I recommend the Lund trail armor from the accessories catalog. It not only covers the pinch weld, but protects the rocker panel from rock chips.

I put these pics in another thread, but Iā€™ll let you see these as another possibility.

Itā€™s out of stock but there are other dealerships that can order like Levit town Ford. Your own dealership can order it. Probably will pay more though. Some dealerships wonā€™t install unless you buy the part from them. Hereā€™s a screenshot with the part number (4 door).

Youā€™ll probably pay 15% more through most dealerships.

Yes me too. I recently bought a Jeep Wranfler for the kids. I installed OEM steps and it mounted nicely to the weld/used existing holes for a nice clean look. I've seen some aftermarket steps for Bronco that also use the weld.

Yeah, I've decided I'm going to go with go Rhino if I ever get my Bronco LOL or not. And I noticed that some of them don't use the pinch Weld. And some do so I'm aiming for one that does.

Yikes!

There are enough threads on the topic of under-seals in Bronco6g that this shouldn't have been used if a bit of searching was performed.

Good luck with it, but this most likely won't be the long-term solution you're after.

That will also see water being held against the paint until evaporated, or more moisture is applied.

Obviously not that much of a problem on a brand new car, but as somebody who has cars up to 70+ years old and patched in enough panels, you've created just another problem in need of a solution. Hopefully there is an underbody seal applied on the painted surface before you put those water traps on.

I used a roll of grip tape to cover the weld on my Ram 2500. It covered the weld and the texture matches the power steps I added. Over 70k miles & almost 3 years later it's still stuck great.

Looks way better, huge miss by Ford IMOā€¦

mom trying to gauge my delivery. I have only received an email saying a build date first week of December. When did your email state it would be built? I see the actual build date but trying to figure out if I can expect delivery by year end for tax purposes. Sees like quick ship/receive turn around. You must be close to MI?
