Not even close. We had 3rd generation aircrew when I first got to Barksdale in 1996, and with the planned service life extension programs, the BUFF will still be flying in 2050. The newest airframe we had at Barksdale was built in November of 1961, so by 2050....

I'm 50 ...my old man worked as the parts guy for the B-52's in SAC at various bases back during the Viet Nam days.
Isn't that just incredible!!!
