It's pretty simple, if the Bronco Raptor doesn't meet your mission criteria, don't buy it. If you need V8 rumble and the ability to take down a teenager at the stop light at a sub 6 second 0-60, don't buy it. If you always want the closest parking spot, don't buy it. Hate 4 doors, don't buy it. Can't live with the "Rolex wearing, limousine-riding, jet-flying, kiss stealing, wheel'n and deal'n son of gun" FLARES, don't buy it. Hate the gas mileage, don't buy it. Not 85k worth of awesome, for heavens sake, don't buy it. Worried your dealer is getting you a coveted "R" spot in two years at $500 below MSRP and it's worth the odds and wait, don't buy it. Hate the colors, don't buy it.

I kind of dig it for all the above reasons so many don't.
this attitude takes away the true theme of this forum though. Gatekeepers who waited 9000 days since they heard the word “bronco” preach about how superior their “2 dr manual with a bronco script” is to every other mall crawler build and say how terrible the bronco raptor is because it doesn’t have either a super simple naturally aspirated V8 for the old heads out there and doesn’t come with only two doors so it’s not a proper bronco.

Hey man, you do you. I will defend to the death you're right to like the Braptor. (Just like I do with Gladiator fans). Anyways, pretty sure my post was deleted. 🤷‍♂️

Keep in mind, it’s the gatekeepers and old timers you’re here throwing shade on who are the reason that you want a Bronco in the first place; it’s called heritage, it’s a thing. ;)

Sure, there are guys who want whats old to be new again and they aren’t realistic at times, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have a point.

No one likes to see an off-roader be a mall crawler any more than enthusiasts want to see a sports car driven out of it’s element just so some guy gets to have a badge to basically look “cool” like those same old timers and gatekeepers they’re critical of for calling a spade a spade.

Don’t want to be shamed? The mall crawler can just go wheeling or camping. National and state parks are cheap and one thing America has plenty of it’s open spaces and dirt; try some.

Anyway the old timers don’t have to be so harsh, but remember, we’re all just trying to be like them; they’ve inspired us and it’s their constant bitching that made Ford bring back the Bronco to begin with, or make this forum that you just joined, and make you want a Bronco.

Respect goes both ways and it’s earned not given.

No participation trophy today kids.

the bar to clear for "absolutely awesome" must be very low. Half the article was negatives. Apparently it is slow, rides rough at slow speeds, and the steering is loose.
Sounds like your mom.. 😂😂😂
Sorry but you walked into it.
